I've just moved into a new house and I'm currently looking into getting a new fireplace. There's no chimney so I'm liking the idea of a ventless fireplace, but there seems to be a lot of concern about them online. But surely if they are fitted with oxygen depletion sensors and catalytic converter it's relatively safe?
