Older System 2000 no hot water (resolved!)

So I have an energy kinetics system 2000 an older version. It seems to me that maybe the circulator is not working.  I see the thermostat light calling for hot water on the left of the panel but the right side never lights up.  When I cycle the system on and off a few times I cannot feel the circulator going on even for a second.  My question is is there an easy way to test this to see if the circulator is the problem... The heat in the house seems to be working from the furnace.
