I have a small commercial boiler Weil McLain LGB650 (650,000 input) I need to replace but the boiler is 30+ weeks out. I cant find anything available and I don't have enough room to twin smaller cast boilers. This feeds 3 fan coils and some baseboard radiation. My question is would a condensing boiler make sense. I am concerned that running at high temperatures would lose the efficiency and shorten the life of the boiler. I am also concerned about the flow. I currently has 2 circulators with a flow rate of 40 gpm each. I think that would be a problem even if it's piped with primary/secondary.
I really would like the simplicity of the cast boilers.
I will be consulting with my distributers tech department but value your guys opinions.
Thanks in advance.
