I have a Burnham heating and hot water combo , oil fired by a Beckett. I converted to natural gas 2 weeks ago just this past Tuesday I swapped my Beckett oil burner to a new Beckett CG4 gas burner . Last 48 hours have been great . I Worked last night so I've been home all day system purred like a kitten . Just now I go to take a shower and no hot water.  Hear in LI NY it's been 28° all day . So I go I to the crawl space and water temp is down to 110° and the burners didnt kick on ?? I cycled the the unit by turning the main switch On and Off two times and burner kicked on and I'm waiting for water to heat up . NO smell of gas Carbon detector didnt go off but it's very windy here in the island 40-50 mile an hour winds . Any idea why this might have happened ?? suggestions to why that could've happened . Just a fluke maybe  FYI I'm an electrical splicer by trade , NO plumber .
