I have a small beach cottage at thr Jersey shore. My old gas boiler is 70 years old, she works great but there is an asbestos vent running from my basement right up through the hall closet through my roof that I would really like to remove. It's preventing me from renovation and enlarging my tiny little bathroom. My hot water heater is about 30 years old. So obviously the whole deal has got to go. Im thinking tankless combi for quite a few obvious reasons. Does anyone have the perfect solution to my problem? Oh, did I mention that I'd like to finish my basement and the boiler and hot water heater are of course in the way of everything. Hanging a combi unit on the wall next to my washer and dryer would really help make the area a perfect laundry/utility room. The more input the better.
Thanks guys, Bill
