I got a Bosch Greenstar Combi unit three and half years back. It is leaking water. I called my home warranty company (Homeserve). They did some diagnosis with Bosch technical support and concluded that the heat exchanger needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, the heat exchanger is not covered under my home serve warranty plan. So, i need to find somebody who can help me with changing the heat exchanger. I called few Bosch accredited Installers but, they are asking for $ for the repair. I am so regretting getting this system.
Also, I recently found out that the system wasn't installed per the code. It failed the town inspection. The original installer never closed the permit.
So, I am looking for help with the repairing the leak issue and fixing whatever needs to be done to pass the town inspection.
Please recommend somebody in Long Island who can help with this repair.
